As Days of our Lives prepares for a double wedding on-screen, Arianne Zucker is getting ready for her own wedding off-screen and recently celebrated her upcoming nuptials with a fun-filled bridal shower.
The actress took to Instagram to share some video and snaps from the event that took place at California's West Lake Village Inn.
"I'm a little behind on posting, but I wanted to share what a lovely bridal shower I had in June with my bridesmaids!" she wrote. "Thanks to my BFF for hosting such a beautiful night! It's all happening! Thank you to my wonderful girlfriends, niece and daughter for all your love! ❤️It's almost time to dance it out! @kimwest79 @leannlazar @leannlazarcoaching @kristin.borland - Kellie, Pam, Izzy and Kaylee!!!!"
Zucker is set to wed former DAYS co-star Shawn Christian, who played Daniel Jonas on the soap from 2008 to 2015. On DAYS, Daniel and Nicole had planned to marry, but on New Year's Eve, Eric Brady was driving drunk and caused an accident that led to Daniel's death. Daniel is also Holly's father. Chloe Lane was a surrogate for the pregnancy the year after Daniel died. Christian is also known to soap fans as Mike Kasnoff on As the World Turns.
Zucker and Christian have been engaged since 2021 but have been together since 2013. In May of this year, Zucker announced that they had finally chosen a wedding date and locale.
"We discovered a wedding DESTINATION and DATE!" she shared on Instagram. "So grateful to everyone who has helped us make this exploration an eye-opening awe-inspiring adventure!"
This will be Zucker's second marriage. She was previously married to DAYS star Kyle Lowder, who played Brady Black from 2000 to 2005. He has also recurred as Rex Brady since 2018. Zucker and Lowder share one child, Isabella. Christian was previously married to Deborah Quinn and has a son, Kameron.
Zucker ended her DAYS tenure last fall and will last air as Nicole Walker on July 29. She is currently in the midst of a legal battle with DAYS.
