Shelley Hennig, who won over the hearts of daytime fans with her portrayal of Days of our Lives' Stephanie Johnson, is heading back to Salem.
The fan-loved character will back on the canvas in mid February for a very special occasion, Soap Opera Digest reports. Will her return have something to do with her supercouple parents, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), or might the NBC soap have something else extraordinary up its sleeve? Mid February is Valentine's Day, after all, and there's no telling what kind of romance is in store for Salemites.
Hennig took over the role of Stephanie in 2007 and played the character until April, 2011. Though she hasn't been seen in almost six years, Stephanie supposedly lives in Chicago.
Since leaving DAYS in 2011, Hennig has gone on to appear in shows like Teen Wolf, Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous, and The Secret Circle.
