Daytime fans need to prepare themselves for a sad goodbye: Cady McClain has reportedly wrapped her time as Days of our Lives' Jennifer Horton.
Soap Opera Digest reports that the actress will make her final appearance on Wednesday, February 17, when Jennifer takes off to Boston.
McClain came to Salem in the fall of 2020, when Jennifer's longtime portrayer, Melissa Reeves, decided not to return to the NBC soap opera due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, it's unclear if Reeves will be returning to the role or if Jennifer will be absent for a period of time.
McClain rose to soap opera fame in the role of All My Children character Dixie Cooney, which she played from 1989 to 2007 and on-again, off-again until 2013. In addition to AMC, she's known for playing As the World Turns' Rosanna Cabot from 2002 to 2005 and again from 2007 to 2010, and The Young and the Restless' Kelly Andrews from 2014 to 2015.
