James Read will join the cast of General Hospital next week in the role of Gregory Chase, father of Finn and Chase.
Read is best known to soap fans as the diabolical Clyde Weston on Days of our Lives, a role he played from 2014 to 2016.
Outside of daytime, Read is known to TV viewers as George Hazard in the North and South miniseries and as Victor Bennett on the supernatural series Charmed.
Read makes his GH debut on June 6. It's unclear at this time how long he'll be sticking around. It's also not known yet if Read will make any additional appearances on DAYS. Read's on-screen son at DAYS, Rob Wilson (Ben Weston), recently signed a contract with the NBC soap.
