The Young and the Restless appears to be bulking up the staff at Genoa City Memorial Hospital. The show has released a casting call for the recurring role of Dr. Barton.
Barton is described as "An African-American doctor in his late 30s to early 40s, handsome, intelligent, and a highly capable surgeon."
The show is said to be "open to name actors" for the role.
The role begins shooting in May and should pop up on-screen by June.
